Synopsis
Ecuadorian artist Francisco Baquerizo Racines explores colonial history and mestizo traditions such as the burning of aƱo viejo dolls. Using Guayaquil as a backdrop, he connects fire, rituals and capitalism, and calls for a reflection on historical, modern and contemporary systems.
