Synopsis
βThe Factory Must Not Stop!β is a documentary film about a former giant of the Yugoslav chemical industry and the memories of its workers. A discovered archive β tens of thousands of slides and negatives β becomes an entry point into a world that no longer exists. Through images and testimonies, a representative of a new generation, Aleksandar KostiΔ, explores the boundary between lived experience and collective nostalgia, trying to understand why the factory continues to live on in peopleβs stories β as myth, trauma, or a lost ideal.
